Re: A little blasting advice...?

I bead blasted my head and some other parts. I liked the satin finish, didn't think to go over with a scrubby, good tip. Re: news and update

Usually free is just to get you hooked, then they rope you in. Don't get me started on Wordpress plugin developers... it's like buying a car but if you want it to start it, the ignition is extra, oh, tires, that's a yearly fee.... I don't want to get into hosting images as I am then responsible for ...

Re: news and update

There shouldn't be any change to images showing up. I'm not hosting images so they should be there same as always. Do you have an example of them not showing?

I think the main issue is Photobucket has changed and now wants money to show images on other sites... really cruel.

Hi guys, I've updated the forum and activated some new cool features: A facebook plugin to allow posting of images and video into the forum. Just right-click on an image in FB, Copy link address , and paste here, it will look like this! https://www.facebook.com/PuchPartsAustralia/photos/pcb.19350403...

Re: In praise of vinegar

Great tip! I've gotten used to riding most of my old bikes with non-functional brake switches. Hopefully the drivers around me have too!

Re: Forum upgraded - looks wacky? - how to fix

Hi guys, I've updated the forum again to the latest version to avoid getting a $5/mth additional charge for legacy PHP support. :? I'll get around to tweaking the graphics, but if you have weird display issues, clear/delete your browser cache ! Keep all those projects coming - I'm about t do a rebui...

Re: 1953 175 SV restoration thread

Looking great - I really love that colour!

Your tank tragedy reminds me of when I had my Norton on a wooden crate during the final (after years) assembly - the weight of the bike pulled the nails out of the box and the bike fell over! Alloy tank dented... immediately ordered a center stand.
